Warm weather year around. Theme parks for summer fun. Great Tex-Mex food. Great attractions like the Riverwalk and close to almost everything...the beach...tubing on the Guadalupe River...boating on Canyon Lake.

not to mention Schlitterbahn about 20 minutes up I-35 in New Braunfels.
