where you matriculate is really not as important as where you want to live. Having just said that, I am making the assumption that we are not talking about post-grad school. The next thing that would have to be considered would be the money problem? If neither of these is a problem then hands down I would select San Antonio. We have a number of wonderful schools here and the ambiance can't be matched anywhere else in the nation. There is no doubt about it that Dallas is a great city, but remember that Dallas is all about business and San Antonio is about tourism. Here it the question that you have to answer for yourself. Do you want to study in a city that is all about business or one that is about having a lot of fun. Dallas is a city in Texas, but San Antonio is a city that is found in America but could be in South America or even in Southern Europe. I made that choice myself,....only that was 44 years ago and I haven't wanted to leave yet..

Note: Some one said that San Antonio wasn't like southern Europe, he is mistaken, I lived there for 7 years. He then said that it was like Mexico,.....wonder where he study at as he doesn't seem to know that Mexico was made up of Indians and Southern Europeans.

Go to S A for the change of pace, new friends, etc. That alone is a learning experience. But, also keep in mind what is your major. Does the small colleges in SA offer what you want? SA may be fun, but will a company outside of Texas know SA community college or whatever is there. As for SA being like Europe, please. It is nothing like Europe. It is more like Mexico, because the majority of the population is from there. You have plenty of time in life for excitement, choose the city that offers the best education. When you have a good job and make good money you can go wherever you like. What about getting out of Texas? I have traveled a lot and lived in different areas, and trust me Texas is not really that great.

If you are a student, then figure out where you want to go to school and THEN think about cities. UT San Antonio is brand new; Dallas has several public and private colleges.

Um I personally like SA better, there are so many colleges here, I'm sure you can find one to fit you major, and even at that they are building a new college here.

Community Colleges -

- SAC

- Palo Alto

- Northwest Vista

- St. Phillips

- North east Campus

Universities-

-Our Lady of the Lake

-Trinity

-St. Mary's

-UTSA

and then all your technical schools and blah blah.

If you liked SA i say you come back. Especially if your more excited about it.
